Anyone who pays attention to world news should be alarmed at the goings-on in Egypt right now. President Morsi, or Mursi, has become MUSLIM DICTATOR Morsi … and, as I write, thousands of Egyptians are massing at their capitol to protest. Folks, this is another battle in the war of Islam vs. the world.
I’m going to present Newsmax’s article from 11/22/12 (yesterday, future Reader) but before I do, I’d like you to take a quick look at
What the Koran demands of Muslims <===Click there (opens a new window)
so you’ll have a clearer understanding of what’s going on and what’s at stake. Please go there now. I’ll wait.
. . . . . . . . . . . . .
What people in non-Muslim countries don’t understand is that, the ones they call “radical
Muslims” are the ones who really believe their “holy” book. They’re the faithful ones! The
peaceful Muslims are the ones who–like most Americans today with our Bible–don’t study their Koran.
1. Commands that the unbeliever be murdered (that is, those who don’t believe the Koran/follow Islam. Islam means submission not peace!),
2. Teaches salvation through one’s works,
3. Forbids friendship with Christians and Jews,
4. Teaches that it’s OK to lie to unbelievers to further the spread of Islam, and
teaches a bunch more evil than I have time to go into. I will, once I have the time and can
work up the fortitude to, again, tackle that tedious book.
Now that you have that background, and are aware that a Muslim-controlled Egypt will quickly align with a nuclear Iran, I invite you to read the Newsmax article….
Egypt’s Morsi Takes Dictatorial Powers
Thursday, 22 Nov 2012 05:03 PM
Egypt’s president on Thursday issued constitutional amendments that placed him above judicial oversight and ordered the retrial of Hosni Mubarak for the killing of protesters in last year’s uprising.
Mohammed Morsi also decreed immunity for the Islamist-dominated panel drafting a new constitution from any possible court decisions to dissolve it, a threat that had been hanging over the controversial assembly.
Liberal and Christian members withdrew from the assembly during the past week to protest what they say is the hijacking of the process by Morsi’s allies, who they say are trying to push through a document that will have an Islamist slant marginalizing women and minority Christians and infringing on personal liberties. Several courts have been looking into cases demanding the dissolution of the panel.
The Egyptian leader also decreed that all decisions he has made since taking office in June and until a new constitution is adopted and a new parliament is elected — which is not expected before next spring — are not subject to appeal in court or by any other authority. He also barred any court from dissolving the Islamist-led upper house of parliament, a largely toothless body that has also faced court cases.
The moves effectively remove any oversight on Morsi, the longtime Muslim Brotherhood figure who became Egypt’s first freely elected president last summer after the Feb. 11, 2011 fall of autocrat Hosni Mubarak. They come as Morsi is riding high on lavish praise from President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton…. (continued here)
Postscript – Someone on talk radio the other day said that the amount of foreign aid we send to Egypt, each year, would rebuild the city of Detroit. Maybe it’s time we stopped foreign aid . . . at least to Egypt?! (Keep in mind, Obama sympathizes with Islam!)
