As I recall, I got this simple recipe from one of Gloria Pitzer’s books, some thirty years ago.
Pour a box of Jiffy Corn Muffin (or Corn Bread) Mix into a mixing bowl. Then add the same-size box of Jiffy White Cake Mix to the bowl and mix them together (yellow cake mix will also work). Add the amount of water that both boxes call for and mix thoroughly.
Pour mixture into greased muffin tins, or cake pan, and bake per box instructions, or until an inserted toothpick comes out cleanly. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Don’t tell your guests what you’ve done! Just make it “an old family recipe” … and they’ll parade you around on their shoulders. I think you’ll agree that these are the best you’ve ever had!
